Career
Girija Oak made her acting debut with Bollywood film “Taare Zameen Par” (2007). She made her Marathi film debut with film “Goshta Choti Dongraevadhi” (2009).
She took a break from acting for sometime and made a comeback through the television series called Ladies Special in 2018. Girija Oak made her short film debut with the film Quarter (2018). This film was premiered at the 71st Cannes Film Festival in the Court Métrage and showcased at more than 12 International Film festivals. For her performance in the film, She won her first international award as Best Actress at the European Cinematography Awards 2018.
